The La Noria Golf opened in 2003 and is an appealing and picturesque 9 hole course almost totally flat course .

his though is quite an interesting course with 3 lakes and a wide river bed running through the course and which has to be crossed on various occasions.

The 9 hole course combines technical holes, 4 par-3s, 4 par-4s and 1 par- 5 and has been designed for all standards of players, from beginners to professionals. It offers good value and can be easily walked and played in less than one and a half hours. For that reason it has become very popular with the local residents who may not have the time to play the larger courses in the area.

One of the best holes is the 8th, a Par 3, handicap 11 107 meters, which has a magnificent lake fronting the elevated green ( a la sawgrass ). It is also protected by bunkers at the back and again the river bed which lays on the left side so anything over hit will put you in trouble for your second shot.

La Noria is conveniently located between Fuengirola and Marbella just behind the popular and small village of La Cala de Mijas.
