Anoreta Golf was designed by Jose Maria Canizares of Ryder Cup fame. It opened its doors to the public in 1990 and was the first 18 hole golf course to be built east of Malaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol.
The attractive and stunning Aņoreta Golf club house is modeled on a traditional Andalucian farmhouse. Bordered by fragrant orange trees it offers a warm and inviting welcome to all new arrivals at the club.
For most of us who play off the yellow tees the course is some 5.800 metres in length and an impressive 6.016 metres for the professionals.
Aņoreta Golf proves itself to be an excellent challenge for golfers of all levels with its varied and pleasant undulating greens surrounded by trees and water accentuating the natural surroundings.
There are a number of bunkers and water obstacles, fast greens and nice easy to play fairways. There are a number of trees and local fauna that enhance the natural beauty of the course. The 17th Hole Par 3 is surrounded by a large lake and has a spectacular green while
the 18th hole will inspire you with its stunning magnificence.
There has always been a good social scene for all the family at Anoreta with the restaurent and club house overlooking the
1st hole being a great place to unwind after your game.
