Alhaurin Golf first opened in 1993 and although a challenging course which allows you to use every club in your bag, is not as menacing a course as the locals would have you believe. It offers an 18 hole course designed by Severiano Ballesteros and each hole is quite different to the last and surrounded by a beautiful landscape of a mixture of Mediterranean trees although they never overpower the spectacular views that are visible from all parts of the course.

One of the finest parts and best kept secrets of the Alhaurin Golf complex is the striking and well kept 9 hole par three course which snakes right around the ample driving range, chipping and putting area. This is the ideal place to really work on and improve your whole game and for just 20 Euros you can spend the whole day on this excellent Par 3 course, great value indeed.

As of last year Alhaurin Golf is now supervised by Aymerich golf management and has become more family orientated. The staff are welcoming and friendly and guided by the professional and amiable club director Rafael Cruz-Conde.

After a round you can relax on the sun drenched terrace at the pretty Restaurant and club house, they also have a well stocked pro shop, tv area and changing rooms and plenty of parking.

The club has introduced some new tournaments in in this years competitions calendar. These photos are the winners of the recently held 2X9 Stableford competition which was open to all federated members of all ages and standards and involved two rounds of the 9 hole par 3 course.
