million passengers in 2009 and 55.601 flight operations .
Sevilla is the capital of Andalucia and southern Spain , its popularity really took off after the world Expo was held here in 1992 with a huge investment to bring the city and the surrounding areas into the 21st Century.
Arrivals: Passengers who disembark come down a ramp to the mezzanine, from where they enter the baggage reclaim hall. After your baggage has been reclaimed, you will then passing through customs in the case of passengers from international flights and go onto the arrivals lounge.
Departures: Passengers access the departures lounge situated in floor 1. There are 42 check-in desks and 15 boarding gates. There are also two VIP lounges, shops, cafeterias and a TV room. Although most of the traffic here is internal Ryanair and Vueling are the low cost carriers offering regular flights to Dublin, Gatwick, Liverpool and Stanstead.
Catering / Shopping : There are several shops and a good catering area to suit all tastes.
Parking: There are two main parking areas P1 and P2. Parking P1: 886 spaces, 24 of them for disabled people. Parking P2: 948 spaces, 30 of them for disabled people.
Parking charges are as follows: From minute 0 to minute 30, 0.017987 Euro per minute; from minute 31 to minute 60, 0.025181 Euro per minute; from minute 61, 0.022258 Euro per minute; daily maximum up to four days 14.65 Euro; daily maximum as from the fifth day, 11.65 Euro.
